O-jhenbel is currently in ruins, but was a more middle-class city.
The people of O-jhenbel had a more relaxed disposition, hence why even though they disliked and mistrusted Nabu when he was a child, they didn't try to hurt him - though many still didn't allow him nearby, and other children were cruel in the way that kids are cruel to those who are different from them. However, when the Oracle told the rest of the country that the Nameless God would come from O-jhenbel, this city itself was caught unaware and had not been informed until the attack was already happening. Many of the survivors went to other cities and have either a strong dislike for Norsen and the Oracle on account of not being warned of the Nameless God being among them until it was too late, or a hatred for Nabu since he is seen as the reason their city was destroyed and many of their loved ones were murdered.

Lord Daruk of O-jhenbel was known for being a bit harsh, and a stickler for the rules when officials from Norsen were around, but also willing to break them when they were not if he thought it gave himself a better quality of life. He is vain, arrogant, and obsessed with wealth and power. When Daruk became Lord of O-jhenbel, he continuously tried to appease Norsen to better his own the city's reputation. Norsen saw him more as exhausting, but also useful.
